The top track performance from the girls came from Mia Hodgson who recorded a Grade 1 performance when winning the U15 100m in a PB time of 12.8; a time that places her 16th on the UK rankings for this year. Mia also achieved two Grade 3’s in the 75m hurdles which she won in 12.4 and in the high jump with 1:58m. Anna Smith finished 2nd to Mia in the 100m in a time of 13.4 which was a Grade 4 performance but won the long jump with 3.88m and together with Abby Clamp in 3rd, was 2nd in the 200m (28.3 and 29.4). U13 Daniel Pickering was the club’s top male athlete showing great versatility by winning the 800m in 2.26.3 (Grade 2), the 200m in a Grade 4 time of 28.4 and the long jump with 4.06m. Chris Peverley ran a solid 4:38.6 to win the U15 boys 1500m and obtain a Grade 4 standard, and Chris also picked up useful league points in the shot and javelin. Jayne Feeham jumped an impressive Grade 2 performance of 3:80m in the U13 LJ. Jayne also finished 3rd in both the high jump clearing 1m 10cm and the 75m with 11.4.


Other outstanding performances came from Caitlin Smith who won an impressive U17 sprint triple with 13.4 in the 100, 29.1 in the 200m and 49.6 in the 300m whilst Nathan Purvis won the U15 100m (13.0), 200m (26.9) and the long jump (4.87m). There were wins for Peter Bradley in the U17 200m (27.5) (Peter was also 2nd in the 100m in 13.4 and the shot 6.12m), Joey Williams in the U17 110m hurdles (16.1), Andrew Sill in the U15 800m (2:35.8) alongside a 3rd place in the 200m and 2nd place in the discus (11.37m), Ryan Gamble in the 3km (9.58:2) and the U17 shot putt with a throw of 6:80m and Katie Blackett with a triple jump win of 7m58. Katie also picked up valuable points finishing 2nd and 3rd in the U17 300 and 800 with 50.6 and 2:35.1. Finally, Katie Gun (U13) won the shot putt with 3.74m before finishing the 800m in 3:12.4.

Also well done to Robert Peverley for solid performances in the U13 100 (3rd - 17:00), 1500m (2nd - 5.44.2) and shot (2nd – 5:56m); U13 Imogen Hope who was an excellent 2nd in both the 150 (23.4) and 800m (2.54); David Harris (U17) for his 2:35.1 in the 800m; Glen Duffield and Jack Williams who were 1st and 2nd in the U17 javelin with throws of 23:10 and 10:65m respectively. Finally, Katie Savory who worked well for the team in the 75m and 150m recording times of 12.1 and 25.0 and also in the long jump with a solid 3.48m.
