Gateshead Indoor Series, 11th March

Katie Savory (U13), Mia Hodgson and Anna Smith (both U15), and Caitlin Smith (U17) were all in action in the indoor league competition at Gateshead stadium. Katie Savory was 9th in the 60m (9:51), and with a jump of 4:45m, was an excellent 2nd place in the long jump. Mia Hodgson recorded a double victory in the 60m hurdles (9:68) and the long jump where she set a new personal best of 4:73m. After 5 matches in the grand prix series, Mia is a clear leader in the U15 girls. Anna Smith finished 5th in the flat 60m with a time of 8:71secs and jumped 4:17m in the long jump. In the U17 age group Caitlin Smith ran a seasons best of 8:52 in the 60m finishing in 3rd position.
