Run on a modified course due to construction works in the town centre and in vastly different conditions the chances of anyone repeating last years super fast runs were not likely. However, this did not stop Angela Hibbs producing a very good silver medal performance with a time of 17 mins 34 secs finishing behind British international Sarah Tunstalls 16 mins 47 sec gold medal run. Maxine Czarnecka claimed 4th place with 17 mins 50sec finishing less than 10 secs outside the bronze medal spot.
