Maxine Czarnecka did what she did last year and produced a fine personal best on this testing and on this occasion windy course. 12 months ago maxine finished in 14th place with a pb of 36 mins 18 secs this year she finished in 7th place with a time of 36 mins .09 secs. Maxine not only crossed the line as 3rd Scottish runner home but she was the only leading Scot to record a personal best.
