Angela Hibbs went one place better than last year to win this popular race which runs along the coast from Tynemouth to Whitley Bay ,her time of 36 mins 49 secs gave her a near 20 secs margin over Aiveen Fox of Morpeth with last years winner Jess Trowbridge a distant 3rd.
