National 6 stage road relays

Despite all of the Chester athletes posting either good or solid runs the best the team could manage was 6th place in what was a race of tremendous quality. Tracy Laws back from injury ran as well as could be expected recording 17 mins 53 sec on leg 1 but at this point the team were nearly 2 mins off the pace in 19th place. Angela Hibbs on leg 2 clocked a respectable 17 mins 41 secs to move into 17th. Emma Waterhouse moved into 13th position with a great course pb of 17 mins 11 secs ,an improvement of 16 secs on last years run . Maxine Czarnecka moved the squad into 9th place with a solid 17 mins 17 secs. Morag McDonnell working back to full fitness clocked a very good 16 mins 51 secs to come home in 6th place. with the gaps now so large Aly Dixon despite recording a really good 16 mins and 17 secs could not get close enough to improve the teams finishing position.
