Freya Murray ran herself into strong contention for a World cross team spot with a great 5th place finish in a race of relentless pace as most of the countries top athletes staked their claims for selection.Aly Dixon in contention for the first half battled well but had to settle for 30th place.Maxine Czarnecka in 40th place exceeded her pre race target of 45th ,a run that keeps her in the eyes of the Scottish selectors. Tracy Laws called up as a late reserve finished in 124th place but her run as 6th counter secured the team bronze medal for the North East
