Freya Murray produced another top class performance to finish 9th in this top class international event. Such was the quality of her performance that the only British athlete to finish in front of her was European Junior Cross country champion Steph Twell who herself finished in 4th place. Maxine Czarnecka had their own private battle with Emma coming out on top by around 20 secs as they finished 39th and 42nd but still in the top half of the event
