The Chester trio of Kathryn Foley, Melissa Turner and Aly Dixon stamped their authority on this event with three powerful runs. Kathryn on leg one showed that she is on form coming home in 2nd place with the days 4th fastest time of 10 mins 46 secs.Melissa with 10 mins 50 secs (the days 5th fastest) wasted no time in taking the club into a 26 sec lead. With Aly dixon on anchor leg the result was a formality,but this did not stop the Chester star from storming round the very heavy course in the days fastest time of 10 mins 17 secs .Giving the club a 54 second victory
