Sunday 21st December - Loftus poultry run

Aly Dixon once again dominated this popular event,with Tracy Laws 4th and Angela Hibbs 5th the team result was a formality

Saturday 13th December - N/E Cross Country Championships

Chester Ladies successfully defended the senior team crown in terrible conditions thanks to really great runs from Maxine Czarnecka, Morag McDonnell and Melissa Turner.Maxine in 3rd claimed her first cross championship medal with a powerful last lap run, Morag finished a solid 5th in only her 2nd race since the birth of her daughter ,Melissa in 6th moved up 15 places on last years run,Claire Simpson 9th ,Tracy Laws 15th and Heather Robinson 1st vet in 16th place rounded off the Chester team. The day did not belong entirely to the senior Ladies,in the under 13 girls Anna Fawcett turned in a fabulous run to claim the individual championship by a big margin ,with Tara Eames 7th and Anna Oliver 16th this team gold also came to Chester. Not to be outdone by their female counterparts Chesters under 13 boys responded in style claiming the clubs 3rd team title of the day thanks to superb runs from Chris Peverley 2nd,Reece Jordan 3rd ,Andrew Short and Richard Liddell both ran well to secure gold.

Saturday Dec 6th - East Scotland cross country Championships

Freya Murray continued her run of form with a very impressive gun to tape victory ,coming home around 60 seconds clear of her nearest rival in what were described as really terrible conditions.
