Leeds Abbey Dash 10k
Melissa Turner produced a really amazing performance
finishing in 13th position with a fabulous new personal best of 35 mins 48 secs nearly 4 mins faster than her previous best
of 39 mins 40s set in the same race last year.chasing her home in 15th position was Angela Hibbs who removed 13 secs from her previous best with a 36 mins 9 sec clocking.
Tracy Laws with her second fastest 10k time of 37 mins 17
secs completed a very easy team win for the Chester girls.

North East Harrier League - Blaydon
Aly Dixon returned to competition with an impressive run from the fast pack recording the days fastest time coming home 10 seconds clear of team mate Morag McDonnell who was returning to competition after the birth of her daughter.First and second places in the race went to Claire Simpson and Angela Hunter who ran from the slow pack.
Dylan Picavance-Clarke in her first run of the season finished in 2nd place in the under 17 girls.

Freya Murray fully justified her British call up with a very impressive 5k leg of 16 mins 08 secs to help the British team finish in 7th place.

Gateshead Cross Country
Freya Murray continued her impressive run of form with a battling 5th place in a very high class senior women's race.Always in a prominent position Freya eventually had to give way to Steph Twell,Louise Damon,Halley Yelling and fellow Scot Laura Kenny all international athletes.
In the veterans race held in conjunction, Heather Robinson was a convincing winner and Jenny Tinkler claimed 3rd place in the over 45s.
