Congratulations to Barry who won Coach of the Year Award 2008.
Barry has done a brilliant job over the years coaching in many areas of the club, but more recently has become better known for working with many of the senior females, whilst still assisting and advising many of the men. Without his help and support the senior women would never have had anywhere near as much success as we have achieved over the last few years. Barry has been an instrumental part of the club not just as a coach but as a team manager and committee member. His selfless commitment and dedication has often gone unnoticed by all but those who fundamentally rely on him - namely his athletes. Barry is always very proud of any success within the club and usually shouts it from the rooftops, but whilst always happy to heap praise on the performances of the athletes he always shy's away from the limelight and glory himself.
