Angela Hibbs recorded her 2nd pb in 7 days when she powered to victory in this popular event
From the Gun Middlesborough athlete Caroline Summersgill shot into the lead with Angela opting for a more steady start. The pair reached 5k with Angela about 50 meters behind the leader,but in her words "feeling strong and confident".Over the next 2k she steadily reduced the deficit ,eventually pulling alongside with 3k remaining .
The in form Summersgill responded and they remained together until around 8k when Angela the newly crowned N/E 10 mile champion began to stretch away eventually coming home for a 15 second victory in a new pb of 36 mins 22 secs
